I feel so far behind in life that I will have to die in order to catch up - not suicidal or anything - just sayin'.
We had a lovely weather weekend. Woody and I took Paco to Pullman Plaza and walked around. Paco added some members to his fan club. We got some ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery - sooo delicious - I had cheesecake flavored and Woody had cake batter flavored - I would rather have one bowl of this than a whole gallon of regular ice cream. We sat in the courtyard and ate ice cream and watched some busy little boys play around the fountain. I heard them say it and then watched them pull it out of the water, "Dead bird!". YUCHH! A germaphobics nightmare! What on earth were their parents doing?! The dad took 2 of the little boys to wash their hands. The parents of the other little boy seemed oblivious. So now I am eating ice cream with a dead bird pearched on the fountain wall. I did what every good woman would do, finished my ice cream and scooped the poor dead thing in the cup and buried him in the trash can. Woody could not seem to understand why I could not leave it there. I am just not wired that way. Is it a Mom thing? OCD thing? A little of both maybe. Anyway... We finished our trip browsing in the newest shops window. It is called The Pottery Place. It sells fired once pottery (bisqueware I think) and you decorate it and then they fire it again and you pick up the finished product. I have this on my to do list for sure! We headed back to the car, happily driving home with wonderful feelings that we shared flowing between us. As a married couple, we forget to do that all too often, I think. But Woody is the love of my life. He tells me he loves me in things that he does and the way he treats me and he never forgets to tell me. Life is good...
